Message	Credit card. There's limits on how much you can charge, but you can usually get checks along with the card and they're as good as personal checks. You just need to be disciplined to come up with your own repayment plan and stick to it. Automatic bill pays are great for that. I've had one card, for a long time now, with 8.99% fixed interest and a rather high credit limit that I've prolly bought 6 - 7 cars and motorcycles with.
